Topic Description: Over the past several months, the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the entire world. Countries have responded differently to outbreaks of the virus and thus experienced varying degrees of success in combating the public health crisis. By studying the efficacies of responses to past pandemics and designing new innovative solutions, this committee will work to create global strategies such as public health policies and guidelines to protect people from further infection.

Vivian Chang
Vivian Chang is a senior at The King’s Academy. She has been attending MUN conferences since eighth grade and later co-founded the club at her high school. Outside of MUN, she is spending this summer working with other Bay Area high school students on biweekly newsletters that aim to spread the truth about COVID-19 and writing for The Stanford Daily. |
Colin Lim
Colin Lim is a senior at Basis Independent Silicon Valley and has been an enthusiastic MUN member and co-president throughout high school. He enjoys camping with the Boy Scout troop he leads and exploring the Bay Area on two wheels. Google's downtown San José development is among the topics he has enjoyed covering for BISV's student-run newspaper. He is currently working on the Koalatea Podcast with his fellow student journalists. |
