Registration for LGMUN is a two-step process. It is essential that all delegates read and closely follow all guidelines and instructions in the blue section below.

LGMUN is different from many conferences because our registration is completed by each delegate individually. Clubs/school groups will not register together. This should make it easier for delegates to submit the deposit payment remotely.
That said, only 15 delegates MAXIMUM may register from each school. Due to the online format and difficulty of conducting debate online, we are limiting all committees to a capacity of 15 to 30 total delegates. This means that our overall capacity is also limited, and we want to allow as many schools as possible to participate. Model UN advisors or head delegates from each school will need to arrange which delegates will register so that no more than 15 are signed up. If we have over 15 delegates registered from one school, we will only accept the first fifteen delegates who registered.
Our online format has allowed us to make LGMUN 2021 free to attend. Still, all delegates will need to pay a $15 deposit when registering. Once you have attended the conference, we will give you the choice to either receive a refund of the deposit or allow us to donate the deposit to Save the Children, our conference charity. For the registration process, we are using the Los Gatos High School web store. This web store requires a 3% transaction fee for all payments. The 3% fee is required and will not be refunded after the conference unless you email us explaining extenuating circumstances. Please read our Payment Policy at the bottom of the Conference Policies page.

Part 1: Google Form
1. Click the button at the top of this page that says “CLICK HERE TO BEGIN REGISTRATION.” 2. Read all of the instructions on the form, and then click “Next.” 3. You will be directed to the next section of the registration form which involves inputting basic contact information. Refer to the following list for explanations on how to fill out the form. |
A. Preferred Committee Type - Select the type of committee you would prefer to be in. General Assembly committees are better for delegates with less experience while Crisis committees are generally for more experienced delegates. We cannot guarantee a position in your committee type of choice due to capacity restraints, so please register early!
B. Agreement to LGMUN Conference Policies - All delegates must agree to follow the conference policies explained on the LGMUN website.
C. Video Recording Agreements - Read and follow all the instructions explained on the form. All delegates under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian agree to the first agreement. All delegates over the age of 18 must agree to the second agreement. Mark N/A for the agreement which does not apply to you.
D. Signature of Parent/Guardian OR Delegate Over Age of 18 - Read and follow all the instructions explained on the form. Whoever agreed to one of the agreements in the above question must sign at this question. If a parent agreed above, they must sign, if a delegate over the age of 18 agreed above, they must sign.

4. Once you are done answering all of the questions on the form, please read the message at the bottom of the form, and then click “Submit.” 5. After submitting, DO NOT close the browser tab. Read the post-submission message. Click the link to go to the payment section of the registration where you will complete the deposit. |
Part 2: LGHS Web Store - Payment
6. The link on the form should direct you to the homepage of the Los Gatos High School Web Store where you will pay for your deposit. Scroll down the page to the bottom, and find the product titled “LGMUN 2020 Registration.” Click on the words “View Details.” 7. You should now see the description for the “LGMUN 2020 Registration.” A. Type in delegate name, email address, and phone number. If you do not have a phone number, write “none.” We need this information, so we can match your Google Form submission with your deposit payment. B. Leave the quantity at 1. C. Click “Add to Cart.” Be sure to only click this button once, so you do not register twice on accident. 8. Look towards the bottom right of the website and click “View Cart.” 9. Confirm that all the information on this page is correct. Look at the bottom right of the website and click “Check Out.” 10. Look at the bottom right of the website and click “Purchase.” 11. Fill in the credit card and billing information. Click “Submit” when you are done. Follow instructions given on the screen after submitting payment. This payment process is part of the secure Los Gatos High School Web Store. We will give you the choice to either receive a refund of the deposit or allow us to donate the deposit to Save the Children, our conference charity.
